How Does the NFT Maker Work?

Follow these easy steps to create your first NFT artwork using our design tool.
No coding skills are required to create an NFT as we automatically publish
your token to the OpenSea platform, where you can showcase and sell your design.

1. Make a Design

Insert your ETH wallet address to enable NFT creation tools and then design your graphics using our intuitive online design tool. Use pictures, texts, vector files or GIFs to design your masterpiece.

2. We Mint the NFT

Once completed, click the Mint button to mint the NFT (using Polygon blockchain) with no cost to you. We transfer the NFT to the OpenSea platform under a hidden tab in the "Made with Mediamodifier" collection.

3. Showcase and Sell

The ownership of the new NFT will fully be yours and you can publish (it is hidden by default) and sell it at any price you like, at any time you like. In return, we only collect a small 2,5% fee once the NFT is sold.

What do I need to get started?

The only things you need to make your first NFT is a free Mediamodifier account and an Ethereum supported wallet. We recommend the free Metamask Chrome plugin. Once you create your wallet, you can paste your address into Mediamodifer to enable the NFT design features.

Why do you need my wallet address?

Your wallet is where you will automatically receive the funds from any NFT sale you make. The NFT ownership will also be verified by your wallet.

Wait... what is an NFT?

NFT stands for non-fungible tokens in the blockchain. This means that NFTs are unique digital items such as collectibles, art, designs, game assets or even text. Tokenizing your work means that you can ensure the uniqueness and control the ownership which is verified in the blockchain.

How do you mint my token?

We use OpenSea ERC-1155 on Polygon to create an NFT. This keeps costs low and allows to later add the option of minting multiple number of copies.

What is OpenSea?

OpenSea is the world's largest NFT marketplace where creators around the world sell, share, and buy NFT items. Sharing your item directly to OpenSea means your item is more likely to get better exposure as a part of the Mediamodifier collection.

Are there any hidden costs?

No. You will only pay the small 2.5% fee once your NFT items is sold. Designing, creating, and minting the item in Mediamodifier is free. However, the PRO account does enable better design features on your account.

Can I set my own NFT price?

Yes. We only upload the item into our collection for everyone to see. It is then up to you to decide if and when to sell your NFT at your own set price.

What are the best use cases for an NFT? What sells more?

At the current stage, NFTs are popular forms for spreading artwork, but they can also be used for much more - for example, selling limited access tickets to an event, or access to a service.

Who owns the copyright for the NFT?

Assuming that you designed the NFT without using any copyrighted materials, then the full copyright is yours. The token is also transferred to your wallet.
